A Route of Evanescence
With a revolving Wheel—
A Resonance of Emerald—
A Rush of Cochineal—
And every Blossom on the Bush
Adjusts its tumbled Head—
The mail from Tunis, probably,
An easy Morning's Ride—

This happens to be one of my most favorite poems. I've only just recently discovered it but I've fallen for it. I love how it describes the hummingbird. My dad and I have always ranted and raved about the hummingbirds at our house :) we love them

This is one of my favorite poems of Emilys this poem is one the Extremely few that actually have a title, its titled "The Humming Bird" And while it sketches the picture of a hummingbird it seems to tell the atom if life in that First Quatrain

A Route of Evanesence is our Route as all the World knows

With a revolving wheel the revolving wheel is the revolving wheel of life of the seasons of good times and bad times of Time itself and human nature ( she says so much in such a short line)
A resonance of Emerald she is saying Our Resonance is of Emerald it is of the Breath of life
A rush of cochineal (cochineal is a red dye)
our rush is of cochineal our passion our love is cochineal Then it goes to the hummingbird... as the bird passes her in such a quick rush of cochineal/ Every blossom on the bush adjusts its tumbled head
(the bird wizzing by a bush)The Mail from Tunis probably an Easy mornings Ride I do not know exactly what It means but if I would guess I would say the Mail from Tunis is what the bird brings an it is easy for her because of how passionate she is it could have to do with Us bringing ourselves the Mail from God or foriegn places in our every day " rushes of cochineal I LOVE Emily!!
