Afraid! Of whom am I afraid?
Not Death—for who is He?
The Porter of my Father's Lodge
As much abasheth me!

Of Life? 'Twere odd I fear [a] thing
That comprehendeth me
In one or two existences—
As Deity decree—

Of Resurrection? Is the East
Afraid to trust the Morn
With her fastidious forehead?
As soon impeach my Crown!

.: :.

in this poem i believe she is saying that there is nothing to fear. not death because death is a natural matter to life. not life because if you fear living than it is not a life lived. the last stanza i think means that the only fear one can have truly is tomorrow because it is unknown.
