We knew not that we were to live—
Nor when—we are to die—
Our ignorance—our cuirass is—
We wear Mortality
As lightly as an Option Gown
Till asked to take it off—
By his intrusion, God is known—
It is the same with Life—

This is a wonderful airctle Penny! First, thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a wonderful endorsement of my work! That was unexpected and deeply appreciated. Second, good for you for taking action in your business and inspiring others to do the same. We should have faith, and we also need to take action. You are a true shining light and I think I can speak for all of your followers to say keep it up! we are listening and feeling inspired by your messages! x x

I think that a second read is good for some books, but I think it's also the speed we read books, as well. I know that, with my goal of 75 books this year, I was rendiag like mad, hurrying through books to get to the next. Now that I know that I'll hit 75 before October, probably, I can slow down but momentum is hard to overcome. Some recent books, like The Book Thief and Empire Falls, were ones that I took slower (not on purpose, though, the book just seemed to make me), and I think I got a lot more out of them because of it.I agree with you that the lit classes def help with appreciating books.
