Bio:

Why try to be clever? I have 6 boys, am a grandma, (thru my cool stepson), and am one fun chick. I also have 2 black cats-one indoors & 1 out. I am not a witch. I love music, poetry, and sci-fi not necessarily in that order. My man is the absolute hottest and tenderist, & smart assed-but he is sooo modest. He won't agree with that. Do you believe this?> In cyberspace no one can hear you lie.

Why I Write:

As in Andrew Hudgins' poem "Grandmomma's Toenails"..."Some need to get the inside out. I need to get the outside in". I write to assimilate experiences. To know a thing or feeling or person better. I write to bring a human empathy to something I am struggling to not hate. I saw someone compare their writing to a baleen whale gorging on all kinds of particles, then producing nourishment/a poem out of the detritus. That's how I'd like to be. I also write for fun. To play word games, to be quirky. To be unexpected. I, too, am a vocabulary whore, and love to use words that are new to me. If an author has me checking my dictionary every chapter at least, I will keep coming back for more. I have to say I've also taken out my sword & tried to artfully slash a yippy dog of a person to ribbons. More than once. It feels so good! Happy writing to everyone! It's great therapy! And if it's shared with another sufferer, it can be so edifying!

Hobbies:

So standard you don't even want to know. Maybe I should get into accordian playing. Now THERE's a hobby you can share with EVERYONE! Because who doesn't love a good polka?!

People open up to me. I am like a truth serum. I am very interested & discreet about people's personal happenings. Children out of the blue ask me about life's issues. I am positive & try SO DAMN HARD to not be judgemental. I know that I am...a little.
