Sorry elite skills, my writing takes me elsewhere...

It's amazing what happens when you re-read your own poetry. I realised that one of mine is practically the novel '1984' yet at the time I had no idea of this! Subliminial influences are just wacky aren't they...

       Hello fellow "eliters"!
I admit I have neglected the world of poetry of late, but do intend to return
Between university applications, family circumstances and just general teenage preoccupations, I haven't been able to find the time to allow my poetic juices to flow.
Feels good to be back :)
    Hope all's good.

    Mood: Thinking...

It is true that with beauty comes arrogance. In most of the cases I have experienced anyway. And when this arrogance emerges and augments beyond control, the beauty is stained with an irremovable hideousness.
My love Bill Shakespeare put it better:

    "For sweetest things turn sourest by their deeds;
Lillies that fester smell far worse than weeds"

    No. 94

My love for Shakespeare grows by every moon.

Lyrics taken from "paddington town" in his album "Jammy smears"... legendary scotch man.

It is the pressing that makes a line of earth
    A path, Feet and wheels,
It is better known than a lover's body
And holds a quieter appreciation of my warm awareness

    Many feet make a path..

Who choses the brown steaming drug over the fire burning eyes that lets the flowers grow...
