    Mood: Thinking...

So I just wrote something. It's adapted from Neruda so I it's not entirely orginal but it's a start. Funny thing- how love inspires you. One of my favorite poems of Pablo Neruda is "Your Feet". Recently, I find myself falling in love but because of logistics and wisdom dating isn't going to be an option for at least another 5 months. I find that the boundaries of not being able to be intimate have made me find the strangest loopholes. A graze here, a glance there. I steal what I can without crossing the line. Last night, after spending time with him and not being able to do anything but graze feet I remembered Pablo's poem and it meant more to then it ever had. I decided to rewrite it since his is written to a woman. It is in my own words but the format is the same and the last lines-Ooooh, the last lines are what hit home for me. I am so grateful for Pablo's voice and for him putting words to heart. The original poem can be found here: ***anyone know of a better word that i can use instead of adroit?*** Your Feet Since I can not graze your face I graze your feet. Your feet of arched bone, Your anchored feet. I know that they support you, and that your adroit weight rises upon them. Your legs and your chest, the cleft of your chin, the sockets of your eyes that have just filled with Him. your immaculate mouth, your brown locks, my virile tower. But I love your feet only because they walked upon the earth and upon the wind and upon the waters, until they found me.

Cynthia-i had a vision of my heart in church i mean not like a "vision" but a day dream anyway, how are you i found a good frozen yogurt place for us to try if you like that sorta stuff 10:16pmMarie- hmmm...what was the vision 10:16pmCynthia- my heart... had reins chords like strands and each chord represented a different affection and these chords of affections were being pulled in different directions straining my heart. affection of wanting to be wanted... affection of materialism... affections of wanting a mate... etc. then i prayed Lord... the chords of affections are scattered gather them and rein them onto your cross and he bundled them for me... and gently (not pulling) then rested them on the beam of the cross no more strain just laying in surrender laying organized and still peaceful, focused i need to get my heart like that that was a trippy vision 10:19pmMarie- wow...that is deep.. 10:19pmCynthia hmmm i tried to draw it it was not as good as i saw it in my minds eye those affections that i named above- please don't repeat them

Where is Ingrid? I wish I hadn't deleted that submission. I don't have a copy of it. My words are somewhere floating in fragments lost in between eternity and my heart.
No more deleting work for any man. I will not censor myself nor curve my transparency for no man 'cept Christ Himself. And even He gives me the freedom to express myself.
    Oh, Ingrid. I miss you.
