Darkness of Dawn

Maybe this will help... This is a poem written to the sun by someone who felt that the only sweet thing in life was the sun, but decided that even that was not sweet enough...

Comment please. I need to know what people think. That is kinda the point of this site.

Unknown and Unregarded

I heard on the news about people finding newborn babies left in garbage cans and in stores. That prompted me to write this.

Desire the End

I've been workding on this in my head for a while now, and I've had a sudden jolt of imagination to write it down on paper. For now I will copy Zao's song title Desire the End, but it will be changed sometime. More to come...

Leaving to Return

In this poem "Darling" has a twofold meaning. It mainly referrs to My Love- my focus in life. But then its second meaning is also referring to whoever I will share the rest of my life with. That is why "love" is not capitalized. But when I say sing with me of "Love," or any other time it is capitalized, I meant the Love of God because God is Love. The poem also shows my progression of focus from where I was to where I am now. There are other things too, but I thought I'd make that clear.

Absalom

Ok, well some people have told me what they thought and its what I was guessing. The poem is too obscure or the story not well known enough to understand. The story is about when Absalom took the kingdom away from his father David. It is from the point of view of David. "Her" is the kingdom. The story begins at Absalom's uprise and ends at David's lament for Absalom's death. I hope to see what people think now that its explained.

This is rather experimental for me. Meaning is found in more words than what are read...
