Until its time,

Remember when only Arthur can pull the sword from the stone?
A mere child I’m told,
But what of a different version enfolds?
Remember when Arthur chooses a bride?
Guinevere was her name,
Her beauty outshines all others,
So it was said,
Let the story of Arthur, High King of Britain live on,
Of the Round Table,
Of Betrayal,
Of Loyalty,
As well as Death,
And Honor, as well...
So let the story tell of the knights and the life of Arthur,

so many choices,
in a seemingly infinite display,
bolded entries; the chosen word,
its pronunciation in parenthesis,
superlatives and multiple endings,
roots in brackets some Latin and Greek,
many meanings for one word.
and after the “and” its thesaurus,
another key to open the lock,
to sibling words in a great family,
of language.
