Message  While everyman shall have his say in things unto his own
A stirring voice is of no good without the poet’s tongue
So hereby I by alibi beseech each soul to loan
Beyond transparent window pane the world’s tune as sung.

Through thither words and hither rhymes compile with words you own
Speak not of praise and fear no wound from bitter, jagged tongue
Though drive-by’s often rectify the losses by the loan
Be pure, be bright,--original--and sing what none have sung.

And once again remind yourself that rhymes which no one own
Shall sweeten minstrel’s silver lips and silken spinster’s tongue
Although the master’s lullabyes are goods for all to loan
The loom you spin with novel rhymes are tales to be resung.

So gather here, and thither dine
Describe your world in seven lines
From liquor pure to sapphire brine

"Make something, something
Mine."

And there you go. The rules are simple, the requirements lenient-- Describe the scene outside your window in 7 lines...
Just write away, I suppose?

Message  Drop zone Lightbringer is strewn
With red and orange Faerie paratroopers.
They lay dead where they’ve fallen on the gravel path.
A calico sniper, a twitching tail his only visible movement,
Creeps up behind a careless red breasted General.
All this, while acorn artillery
Pummels the earth on all sides.

Message  The world outside my window pane
Is black, dark, and rampant with rain.
Silvery wisps of weakened light
Shine from above as if in fright.
No sound can be heard through the glass
As I witness the wind swirl in the grass,
Rejoicing its right to fly free.
