Message  top 5 hmm.... lol To be honest i aint a big fan of rap on the website.. When i come across it i read it, and enjoy it.. When i mean to say is, im having a hard time to come in and look for "hip-hop".

Aknahlij- he got me started of actually doing my hip hop on this site
Unknown/troy- e’ertime you see a title you think that some how you gonna read something you’ve heard before, but he fools you every time
Munchie- there girl has got some lyrics and an attitude to go with it
Xtremegentleman- He’s got mad punchlines and rhythm, I found him out when him and my bro had that small beef
Brack- that boy always has me thinking with everything he writes

This aint in no particular order, I havent exposed myself to other people, maybe i ought to

Message  Man, this is like a mom picking favorites with her kids! Alright my list is:

1.) Unknown Soldier- Troy was the first emcee I read work of. He stuff was/is right on the money with rhyming and flow all the time. Troy can take anything and make it into a rap, and make it sound so tight. He is always renewing himself. I love what he got to say in every rap. Plus he is my candyman. lol.

2.) Heavy Knowledge- Chaz is my baby boi was the second emcee. And I fell in love with his skills with a rap dedicated to his grandpa about showing respect to our elders. I love his powerful lyrics and his rhyme scheme. He has a in your face mentality that I just love.

3.) Solemn pen- I loved his raw and edgy approach to rap. He was not ashame to say what he had to say and he was the first rap I read where I was blushing for him. He is someone to watch out for.

4.) LiLi!!! That girl can throw down! I am like wow everytime I read her poetry or rap. She is holding her own in this male list of elite emcees. she not only got skill, but she got charm with it to make you respect her as a lady. She speaks her mind, gotta love that!

5.) Xtremegentleman- I just recently starting reading his work. And I love him. He has a easy flow that is just fantastic. Very bold and direct with a touch of class like a genltman, lol, and he will serve you well if you piss him off.

I’m just starting to read PJ and Dave, and I love there work aswell. I’ve read Brak in the forum, and have not read his stuff outside of it yet, but I will. And maninthemirror and robbing hood I’ve only read on a callbro with Troy. I liked what I read. I plan to read their individual stuuf as well. I have read a couple of Orpheus work, but I was impressed by what I did see.

I feel like I’m forgetting alot of others. I hope no ones feel slighted and think I am dissing ya. I’m always reading poetry here more than lyrics. I’ll try and balance them both. To any I did not name, forgive me. I am proud of anyone who steps to the mic. It’s take alot to do it and few have the stuff to do it. I’m just glad to know most of you.

Maggie

Message  Hmmmmmmmmmm.............I don’t usually like rating people....but here it goes....

1.) always gotta be my boy X....he’s the clyde to my bonnie.....he always makes an impact with his words.
2.) Aknahlij.....he was one of the first I read on site....so I have to give my props. He’s a good lyricist rambler! LOL
3.) Solemnpen.....he came out of no where and has really developed his skills as a writer. He’s come a long way.
4.) Brak-Attax.....I can sit and look at his stuff and me in a meditation for a moment. Great use of the pen.
5.) Unknown Soldier....you surprise me a lot of the times. I read your stuff and I can really tell how your mind works. You put it all out there. That deserves props.
6.) Orpheus.....only read a few. I’ve been impressed though. Not too many can do what he does. He’s got a technique all of his own.
7.) Robbing Hood.....he’s my boy! He always supports me and is always great with words. He’s my "fellow pimp" so to say. Mad melodic style.
8.) Maninthemirror....he came over and invited me to read his stuff....he could very well deserve to be higher up in rankings....haven’t read enough to be able to gloat about him....but from what I have read.....WOW. I’d share my pen.
9.) Gotta give my girl Maggie some props. She shocked the shit out of me when she came with the beat. Do your thizzle girl.

OF COURSE I AM STILL ON TOP....I didn’t want to look conceited though. LMFAO! JP!

I’m sure some of ya’ll maybe got some words on me....but not much! LMFAO!

I know there are more out there...just haven’t really read that much of their stuff. Nothing personal.....just my pure devoted laziness! LOL

Much love to all those I’ve shared a mic with!

MWAH!

Message  any DYR nigga is Hot. X is fya, punchline every line. orpheus is jesus jsut for his skill and technique. li li is a awesome up n comer, i think she’s tighter than most of the other wannabe’s to be honest. i haven’t been readin anybody else lately, but some classics would be skillz, who was a rhode’s scholar on steriods, and JD, the sicker of the two heckles. the battles those two put on were SO ill. and hyprglo, who’d rip on a nigga’s comment and give him props with it! i can’t think of anybody else right now
