It takes
the dust, in air,
sky brown, you need
no wind,
and sun, tin roofs, and up
it goes
Soaring... look at it... float
gently shining in furnace heat
red, green, blue, red
In the brown sky
the dust in mouth
the sun on back
neck cricked backwards, staring
It rises, spinning, spinning,
see it spin, droplet forming
on the underside
top is speckling, dimmer... dimmer...
Pop!
It bursts,
And now, my broth-
er’s head
is wet!
Ha, ha! Let’s blow
some more,
and fill
the air
with bubbles. |
