Message  I always go here for names: http://www.behindthename.com/

At the top there’s an engine that lets you search for names by meaning.

ie "dark"
Carey - From an Irish surname which was derived from Ó Ciardha meaning "descendent of Ciardha". The name Ciardha means "dark" in Gaelic.
Phoenix - Means "Dark red" (ie blood... and makes me think of Joaquin Phoenix yummy!)

Just a thought!

Message  Kenji - a male japanese name. It means "intelligent second son". So, if he is the younger brother, it would fit, I guess.

Solomon - how can you resist using a name like this? The Bible has lots of good names.

Jude - another Bible name. Kind of androgynous but also slightly mysterious

Belial (pronounced bee-lee-ul, not bee-lie-ul)- pulled this one from the Bible too. It means "good for nothing". It is a name that appears only once in the Bible and it is attributed to Satan.

I can’t think of anything else at the moment. I hope that helps

Message  bob, call him bob and call the brother jim.... its classic and simple and implies an explict americanization (if you are going for something like that)... but villains in a story like what this sounds like should have simple names and hide behind that simplicity... you should write it like a mystery, and not let the reader know which brother is the evil one... now that would be a good story
