| User | Miss Understood | | Topic | Good Plot?? | | Message | Okay, so I am TRYING to write a story/book. And I have a plot that I think is great but I want to know if the average reader would like it. SO here it goes.
The story is called Hazel Eyes. It is the story of a young woman trying to find her identity and her place in the world. Typical young adult story? Well she is different in that the entire world is watching her. She is a superstar who goes by the name Sapphire Night(I need a new stage name). She is frustrated because it seems like she cannot please anybody. Her family, who is from the buckle of the bible belt, thinks that she is a Jezebel. The world and her peers in the industry thinks that she is too much of a good girl. So with all of the world watching, Hazel/Sapphire goes off to "find herself." She starts hanging out with the wrong people, she gets drawn into an abusive relatioship, she starts experimenting with drugs, withthe whole world watching. Everyone thinks that she has gone too far, but she stubbornly continues doing her thing. The book climaxes when she kills someone while drunk driving. Will she ever learn how to forgive herself? Will she ever learn how to love herself? HMMM.
Okay so thatz the gist. What do ya think? |

I personally would like to read a book like that than some dysytopian fiction that has to do with the past. I’m looking for something that could happen in modern day/future. Hazel sounds like she has some problems with the two conflicting sources of antagonizing. As a reader, I hope that people can learn from the story. |
