| User | Jeniffer | | Topic | Psychic girl | | Message | Ok, so I have to write an essay (although it’s really more of a story if you ask me)
about having a superpower for a day. As to be expected, I’m experiencing a bit of writer’s block. I didn’t want to choose something cliche like flying or X-ray vision, so I decided that the main character would be clairvoyant for one day. The twist is that she doesn’t know that she’s clairvoyant at first; she dreams of waking up and going about a day which hasn’t happened yet. Then when she really does wake up on said day, she has a second chance to change things. Sort of like Groundhog Day.
The block is this: what to call it, and just what the main conflict should be. I already have the characters and their personalities, but I’m at a loss as to what setting and situation to put them in.
What would you write? |

Maybe one of them is going to shoot up the school. She lives through the experience and is terrified. Upon waking up on the day, she is now given a chance to save her friend and prevent the shooting.
It could be called ’Mobius" - in reference to a perceived time-loop. Or something like that. Whatchya think? If you don’t like it, I’ll use it :D By the way, I’m Flynn
