 Topic  Story title Ideas
Message  Hello Everyone. I finished writing a story back in May and I am still searching for a title. I have quite a few I like at the moment but I’d like to hear suggestions from some other people.
But anyways here’s the summary of my story:

Seventeen year old Annabelle Stevens’s world is torn into two when her best friend Edward Woods commits suicide right in front of her. Now it’s up to her, Edwards little brother ; Alex and their friend Jamie to find out the truth to why this happened. They are visited by the ghost of Edward who helps them along the way and gives them motivation to keep living. During their desperate search for truth they unravel many secrets including the truth behind the ’accidental’ death of their dear friend Alison.

I know the story sounds quite brutal but it is actually heartbreaking. Only 2 people have read it but they absolutly loved it.

So any title ideas would be great! :D

Message  I can’t think of a title based on a summary. I don’t like a title to be based on what it’s about in general, it should focus on something small but significant in the story.

Par example, in christopher paolini’s Eldest, the word eldest simply refers to the eldest brother. Of course the 2 brothers don’t know they are related until close to the end.
So’Eldest’ reveals nothing about the story but it is still significant.

Message  I like "I found the Cure to Growing Older"!

These may be corny! "The price of surviving"? I had a friend die a few weeks after graduating from high school from cancer. The worst part for all of us he left behind that we had to go on living without him...

Or something like "The Truth of Death and Life" (since they found out about many truths set off by the death of a close friend who then gives them the will to live?)

Maybe bad examples. I think you got a great one with "I found the Cure to Growing Older" :-)

Message  Alone in the Dark reminds me of that show on Nick. The summary reminds me of that certain series.

I think it should be called, "The Call Beyond". It sounds cool and it has some relevence to the story (i.e. Edward talking to them).
