Message	i totally agree! i hate to read long drawn out poems! sometimes they are ok-ive found a few who have kept my attentio throughout the whole thing but most of them i get tired of reading. its like they go on and on and on...then i get bored and dont finish reading them. i love short poems because most the time(if they know what their doing) then the poem is right to the point and you can get all the information that you need form it which is wonderful!

Message	Also- it wasn’t sort by length, I kinda see what you mean- shorter pieces would be targetted. However I actually meant to be able to search by size. Ie, search between x amount of words and y amount of words. Search 100-200 words.

Message	Fairly stated- usually I can produce a better arguement. I’ll just leave it at this- I like short writings. In fact- I even like to write short writings. In my opinion I like to say something vaguely to a reader and have them imagine the rest.

Why would you care about them? You said this because those were your thoughts on the subject. It’s like the kids asking their teacher, "What if you didn’t do it?" when meaning themselves. This feature would be abused. Shorter ones would be far more targetted than longer ones. This is not a time game. Seeing your critiques you do seem to choose the shorter ones. I don’t see any long ones in your critique. ". Being able to search by size would allow me to search for longer writings as well as shorter writings, wouldn’t it? " You’ve been targetting the short ones, so, not based on your actions. This sounds like a request based on pure laziness. The least you could have done is read through some long ones before saying the above quote.

Message	I have no problem reading longer pieces, however I enjoy shorter writings also. Being able to search by size would allow me to search for longer writings as well as shorter writings, wouldn’t it?

"why do I always see people commenting their personal relations to a particular writing?" because that’s what a critique is, a personal reaction to the piece. If it’s just a thumbs up or a thumbs down with a bunch of general fluff, then it’s a crap critique. There’s nothing wrong with the longer ones. "Not necessarily to choose the shortest one I could find. Not all people are the same- but if they think that way they’re gonna look for short one anyway... " If you want to only read short ones just for the reason of less they’re less time consuming I suggest you leave. This site is to be taken with patience. Not wanting to give back the same time for improvement as others give you is just selfish.

Message	If people don’t have time to comment they shouldn’t be posting. This is a critique site, not a submission gallery. The requirements aren’t even very strict. Get one, give one, and you’re at 100%.

Message	It is still kinda hard to force people to comment, I’d think. I thought it might be a good idea to just read a short one if my time doesn’t permit a longer one. Message	Hmm maybe for longer submissions above x amount of words ordered by date. I’m still not sure though. Many people don’t reply anyway. It’d be terrible to read through long writings with the same chance people would not reply.
