Message	You go to one of their poems - one that would qualify as a "favorite" for you - click on the FAV button above that poem and it and the author are added to your favorites list.

Message	it means that you add a person to your stalk list and every time they make a new jounal or post it lets you know though PM. so if you have a fav put them on your stalk list and you’ll be alerted with everything new.
