I’m relatively new to Elite Skills and I’m still trying to get the knack of this site. I saw this has a roleplay section and so immediatly I started to jump for joy - only to be sadly confused.
First of all, I wonder if I have a different interpretation of "roleplay" than used on this site. To me a roleplay has always been a story (usually posted as a thread on a forum) that you create a character, others join, and depending on the plot the writer makes, you continue on writing the story as you go.
Since RPs are threads, one user can post several roleplays with several different characters.
I’m sorry to be a bother and I know I probably didn’t explain myself thouroughly enough, but I just can’t understand or get around the roleplay section of this site at all and I was wondering if that might be my own problem.
I’d appreciate any help.

Now people just post random thoughts on the role play, mostly having nothing to do with the entry before theirs and nothing to do with what remains of a plot. If you want to do roleplay... go to a different site. This one’s worthless.

If you want to go by your own rules post a new RP and indicate all the rules you want the people to go by.
Otherwise, just follow what the people in the thread are doing. |
