| User | Rokhal | 2005-06-27 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | It doesn’t want a URL at this link, it wants the image itself from the computer. I think I was a little fuzzy about that.
You highlight the image in your file, then click OPEN, as though you just wanted to view it. The image address that your computer uses to keep track of its location will fill the Elite Skills box, then the BROWSE changes to UPLOAD.
Just wanted to be clearer. |
| User | Rokhal | 2005-06-27 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Ah! The button says BROWSE, which means you click it and a window pops up that should be somewhere in the My Pictures or My Documents section (on PC, I don’t know MAC) from your computer. You get to where you have the picture saved, and select it. The address for the picture will fill the box on Elite skills and the BROWSE button will change to UPLOAD. The site will copy the picture from your computer and store it to its own image hosting area. I think it will automatically display on your page then.
BROWSE means the site takes it from the computer, SAVE (I think) means the site follows a URL from an image you’ve already hosted somewhere else. |

| User | | 2005-06-25 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Exactly what Elite Skills links are you using to put the picture on? Is it a spot where you hit browse, or where you type in a URL? |
| User | SHRINKSDR | 2005-06-25 | | | Subject | pics | | Message | Thank you Rokhal - It is in jpeg format 4954 bytes 113X159 pixels Why is it not working??

| User | Rokhal | 2005-06-25 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | It must be in GIF or JPG (JPEG) format, or the site can’t display it. |

| User | Sandburg | 2005-06-17 | | | Subject | another way | | Message | Search google or yahoo images for the pic you want, right click, choose properties, highlight the address and copy. Paste into the image field in submissions, but remember to skip the "http://" part. If you put "http://" in there it won’t work.
Good luck.
