 Message  does anybody know what the fuck it means? i heard a song and i thought it’d be a kool name for a poem if i could figure it out. thnxs in advance

 Message  Yeah... It’s a way of keeping away bad luck, like saying "God forbid" or something like that.

 Message  When you say, "I’ve never gotten into a car accident --knock on wood" It’s something you say when you don’t want whatever you just said to happen to you (because you know that when you say things they have a habit of happening to you), and most of the time the person physically knocks on a wooden table/desk/whatever. It must have some kind of cultural/traditional origin I’m sure.

That’s as best as I know how to explain it, if I’m in any way correct at all.
