I mean, on a large scale, not many people really understand very much. So I was thinking tonight while driving home from Houston, "What if I tried to completely erase bias and favoritism from my life and try to do everything".
Bear in mind, I was really about to fall asleep while driving. Maybe I’m just on crack. But would it make sense to try and not have a favorite food or a favorite place to hang out? Maybe if I stopped having a preference when it came to clothes styles or people, I’d be able to understand why people are a certain way.
Does that make sense to anybody? I’m kind of rambling, but I thought I’d share my thoughts.

As good as it may sound is it really possible? think about it where does the my favorite food and favorite this and that come from? its a part of us and what we are. I would say that without favoritism everything else there wouldnt be a difference between you and me.
im not dismissing you idea, im looking at it from a different point of view

All you have to is to open your mind to other’s opinions and ideas and open your eyes to see the beauty of the other things you havent given great interest yet. If that would be, you can remain with your preferences and your favorites but at the same time... understand why other people are a certain way like that. Come to think of it.. everyone is unique right.. you are unique because of what your preferences are,, what you like and what you dont,.. what you do and what you fear, what your favorite and what’s common..it doesnt mean that you do not like a certain thing, opinion or way, you do not already understand it.. maybe it is the reason why you dont like it. Having preferences makes us unique,, and being unique.. other peoples have always something to discover in you that they dont have or realize... and that what sizzles life....Ü |

There are colors that we are drawn to over others, there are personality types that we feel more comfortable around than others; there are restaurants that serve the types of food that we feel tastes best. I don’t think you’d be able to accomplish a preference-free life for even a day. Humans just aren’t built that way.
And really, how would that help you to understand anybody?
