Message  Oh, yeah, it’s a state of mind. Youth finding truth by challenging the social order. So did hippies, and, I’ve heard, punks.
It’s the new generational fad. All of it. Some just get caught up more--or worse--than others, and start going nuts. Quit acting like it’s so unique.
Maybe you wouldn’t face so many stereotypes if you identified with something that isn’t a youth plague, like, I don’t know, your own thing. People pick a generic trend, then complain because they get labelled--under a group they join.

Message  Okay, the term "Goth" has become a fashion cliche. Honestly, some people really are the real thing. And those people I can’t say anything about. They have their own ways, and that ok.
But the freaking dress-up goths: I have problems with them. People like that have to stop acting like it’s a fashion fad. It gives the true-blue goths a bad name. I am not gothic, but I do respect those who truly are. You poseurs out there: find a new hobby. Adopting ideas and turning them into fads is really getting old.

Message  How can you be a sort of ’Goth’. That doesn’t make sense. I frankly think anyone who dubs themselves ’goth’ is a moron.
