| User | SonAsylum | | Topic | Narnia, Sweet Narnia | | Message | I heard a while back that they were making a moving of The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe but it did not click. Just a few days ago I got to see they trailer and man that looks great (for lack of words). I think The Chronicles Of Narnia are the greatest books ever written. If you have not gotten a chance to read them then I really really suggest you start. The best was either The Magician’s Nephew, The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe or The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader. When I say the previews for the movie I really got psyched and so I have started reading the books again. Starting with The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe. The movie is set to release December 9, 2005. It is being funded by Disney. I am thinking it is going to be 10,000 times better then The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy especially if they make all seven of them. You can find some really good pictures from the movie thus far on the net. Narnia.com and Narniaweb.com are just two. Any way I would like to know what you think about The Chronicles Of Narnia books or movie. Man I really can’t wait now. It’s gonna be good.
P.S.
I do not mean any offense to J.R.R Tolkien’s The Lord Of The Rings The books were really really good by I do like The Chronicles Of Narnia better. |

There still is not any proof that they are going to make all seven. Still this should be good |

Haven’t seen the previews for the movie yet, but I hope it’s good and not another Disney live action clunker. They seem to have really big problems when they make movies with real people, "Mary Poppins’ notwithstanding. There was an animated version of "Lion" from 10-15 years ago; that one was pretty good. Don’t know if it’s available on video or disc. |

Dawn Treader is my personal favorite... I still think about it. It’s different than the other books, somehow. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there you go.

| User | SonAsylum | 2005-06-01 | | | Subject | NO | | Message | No way. You haven’t read them? Gosh let me tell you greatest books ever written. The basic story is there is this land named Narnia and it was created by the lion Aslan. In each story (minus The Horse And His Boy) earth child(ren) get transported by Aslan to preform so great devine task and it is not always about saving the whole world. They are written as children’s books but they are great for everyone (who loves fantasy that is) They are funny sad hopeful and deep. I really suggest that you read them. |
