 Message  What are your views on posting a piece of work that has inspired you but is not your own (obviously giving full credit) e.g. a verse from The Bible????

 Message  I dunno, maybe if you did it as a "thoughts" thing and added your own thoughts ON the quote, then that’s different.
But I would be disinclined to just post something up that isn’t mine without any word of my own in there. But that’s just me personally.

 Message  To inspire other people. You don’t have to post something to have it critiqued. Why can you not simply share something if you think it might inspire someone

 Message  I don’t understand. How is someone supposed to critique something that is not your own? I don’t see the point.
The reason why you post is to get critiqued and improve your writing. Why would you want to improve something that isn’t yours? That doesn’t make any sense to me.
