| User | mae | 2005-07-25 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Givemethegun, I’m sure there is nothing actually wrong with Ohio. For me, living for three years away from my mountains was torture and Ohio would simply have been extending my misery. mae |

| User | splifford | 2005-07-24 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | don’t be afraid, just think of it as a vacation that u might not come back from. one time i had a layover in toronto. i gave my ticket to a stranger and stayed for two years. it made going home feel like a vacation. |
| User | mae | 2005-07-24 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | My (former) husband, our children and I moved from Oregon to North Dakota where we lived for three years. I hated every single nano-second of that time. Finally, we moved back home, divorced and I worked as a supervisor in a regional benefits office. When the company centralized its operations, I had a chance to move to Ohio and be in the head office. I TURNED IT DOWN!!! DON’T GO TO OHIO!!!
I don’t know where you’re living right now, but I’d suggest that you do a little research on the place you’re wanting to go to - on the climate, the job market, demographics, etc. to see if you’d like it. No one told me ahead of time that ND is a meat locker in the winter and a steam bath in the summer.
Wherever and whatever, good luck! mae |

I envy those that never feel the need to stay in one place.

Ya get me? |

Oh, jesus, get the hell out of Ohio!
...just kidding. But if you really want to start a life for yourself elsewhere (assuming you don’t have any dependents, like kids, a spouse, a family member who you’re supporting, etc.) then I don’t see why you shouldn’t if it’s what you want. |
