I’m glad I did it though, I have a better appreciation for the things we usually take advantage of (like food and sleep). Anyways, just wanted to say hi to everybody and see what’s been going on around ES. I’m looking forward to reading some good stuff, and posting some things I wrote in Basic. See you guys around! |

It’s the political BS you’re going to have to put up with for the next four years (or however long you stay in) that’s going to be a real strain. Or maybe that’s just how it is in the Corps, I don’t know much about the....(army?). In any case, my journey in the military is coming to an end, but yours is just beginning. Keep your head down, your spirits up, and at the end of the day, have a drink or two for all who came before you, and say a prayer for those who come after.
