Message	My ex-boyfriend’s family was Wiccan. It’s not about being a "witch" or anything of the sort. That is an outside association with Wicca. If you come into Wicca with the outlook of being at peace with nature and with others, then you will have good in your heart, just as with the moral code of other religions. Wiccans are not witches. Period dot. All over the world people use herbs and natural medicines. And you don’t call them witches or spell-casters, do you?

Message	I never fully understood it, so it intrigues me. I would never practice it, but I don’t hate on anyone who do. I like the air of mystery abou it. A part of it scares me because I was brought up to believe it wrong. I think it would be cool to be a witch. I’d cast a spell to cure my heart problem first. Then heal the world. Then have a endless supply of chocolate. Maggie

Message	This seems to be a personal forum, but I thought I’d mention a couple things. First off, there are many good things about Wicca. Medical doctors have long known about healing powers of certain natural things, ie: copper for arthritis, Magnets for circulation, Lavender for stress relief, chamomille for skin irritations. In fact most of our medicines come from plants or rocks. Wicca, after going through your year and a day of mentoring gives you a deeper knowledge of ways to deal with physical problems in a natural way. Second, if you are wicca you HAVE to follow the creed, which simply stated says as long as you don’t hurt anyone you can do what you want. That tells me two things- if you are going to look into Wicca, you better plan on being a good person. Secondly, if you try to do bad, you will reap what you sow (Times three). The concepts of Wicca have been around for many years. Those concepts are mostly in regards to personal protection from negative thoughts and energies (Stress relief) and improving the health of yourself and those around you. I’m rambling on, but Wicca is a faith based ideal, just like Christianity. No one thinks twice when we ’bless’ the food, ’bless’ this house, or say "bless you" (for sneezing.) Unfortunately Wicca (Or in early America- Witchcraft) came under fire because the Puritans saw all thing non-Christian as evil. (The would have burned peace loving Ghandi as a Satan worshipper had they had the chance. People have the right to be uncomfortable with things they do not understand or see as mystical. Perhaps understanding the basic concepts will alleviate the fear a bit. Take Care of yourselves and each other, Chell

I have had my tangles with wicca before i dont really find that it is for me. I can respect the fact that you dont like it i wouldnt involve you in it if i were ok. I so am not in it anymore ok. Message	yes um no dont burn them it is pretty stupid all these people runnin around saying oh oh lookie im goth so im automatically wicca. Or oh lookie at me i know not a thing of it but im it. hahaah i laugh in the faces of those ignorant people. Though i will admit not doing wicca but studying the art of is pretty cool. And wicca people or wannabes are people like everyone else a bit weirder ill admit but people none the less. Thank you for your input and im nor griping i am siply stating.
