my Father left when i was about a year old. now, 33 years later, i found him on the internet. my mother had me believing that he had died. i finally got to hear his side of the divorce and now i call him every night and we talk for, like an hour at a time! he says he’s going to move to where i live and i am just sooo happy!! Hooray for Daddies!!!! |

You seem to be putting all your eggs in one basket and I don’t want to see you get hurt. Just be cautious, at least at first. |

I know you have a ’rocky’ relationship with your mother, so the natural tendency will be to have expectations of a really wonderful relationship with your dad. I’m afraid you will be disappointed and you’ve had so much of that already in your life. I’d hate to hear that once again your heart was broken. Take care, my dear. Guard your heart, thoughts and expectations. mae |
