I’ve heard the first two a great many times, and much of the time they were talking out of a rather short-lived infatuation or personal crisis. Often the person they think they want or need doesn’t actually exist. But when I say "I miss you," I’m talking about a very real love/need for the person’s presence, because of the very real hole in my life that absence makes.
By the way, you listed "I want you" twice. |
