| User | eowyn | | Topic | braces | | Message | i feel kinda bad now, because im about to get my braces. i was waiting for them for almost three years, and now all my friends are complaining because cosmeticaly i wont be model pretty for a year or two. what they are forgetting is how much i have had to put up with because my teeth are SLIGHTLY out of line.
anyone else had braces (or got them) and can give me the support to get myself through this? |

| User | eowyn | 2006-11-28 | | | Subject | used to them | | Message | ive had my braces for a couple of months now, and, well, they dont hurt (sometimes) and my teeth are straightening faster than they expected. they should be off in about a year and a half, so long as i look after them. then again the dental clinic likes to #$@* me about, and have told me that i need to wait almost 4 months before tehy can have a look at them, because they are understaffed. it really pisses me off. |

There’s nothing to feel bad about. Just like Whirl and dismentled said, just think about the results when you get them off. Trust me, you’ll be so happy when you pull them off and look at your beautiful straight teeth. But for the time you will have them on, don’t worry. The braces won’t make you look bad at all. Mine don’t make me look any different or any weirder than I already am, and they won’t for you either. |

i had braces for a while when i was younger, but so many other people did too,its not a big deal. just think of the result once your braces cum out. is that not worth smilin’ about?? -cheesy grins plz- ;)
