| User | joeyalphabet | | Topic | Superpowers | | Message | Heard a story last week on the radio. Someone asked what would be the best superpower to have. I was intrigued, so I raise the topic here.
So, given the caveat you can only have one, what would be the best superpower to have and why? |

Course, we’re always tempted to do something mean and evil or selfish (why do you think superheroes are stereotypes in comic books?!) but really, any sensible person should know why they want powers. If not we could always get the resident telepath to investigate.
Cheers |

Not saying that I’m planning to kill any of you right now. |

| User | PiperH | 2007-01-17 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | I’d like to have the power of rewinding time, or stopping time, with a simple gesture of my hand. It would come in handy with all those late homework assignments and getting to class on time. I could also go back to a favorite day that I had or just relive all the memorys I want to see again, or maybe some that I missed. Basically, any power dealing with time would be one that I would love to have. Whether it be a seeing the future power or being able to just freeze time. |
| User | Chell | 2007-01-17 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | I would want to have the ability to make everyone calm down just by using my voice. Oh, and be able to see the future- everything but my own death, that is.
Could you imagine how quickly we could fix shit here if simply humming would make people stop being angry? |
| User | silent_death12 | 2007-01-17 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | i don’t know, the ability to die and come back might make life itself less important to you if you could come back to *that* Life at will |
| User | Rokhal | 2007-01-16 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Lots and lots and lots and lots of money.
That’s like a super power. It’s power, and it’s super.
Lacking that, I’d want to turn into animals. None of the burden of knowing all the nasty thoughts other people think, none of the temptation to play stupid pranks on people, not much responsibility, instant identity protection, and a ton of fun. Not just one or two animals, lots of them, and maybe a few I made up. |

| User | dismentled | 2007-01-16 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | What about being able to die and instantly comeboack, would that be a power? And I’m not talking about invincability, or recearnation either. But the ability to die, but come back; kinda like the Crow. |
| User | DaGrimReaperess | 2007-01-16 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | It would be awsome to beable to turn into a dragon...
I have this thing about flying and blasting pesky mortals to smittherines. |
| User | SpartanSteve | 2007-01-15 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Telepathy. You could make people believe they were schizophrenic. Or just talk to people without anyone knowing.
Or something.

| User | silent_death12 | 2007-01-13 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | This depends, are we saying flying is included with any? or is flying an option on its own.....if it is i’d have to say flying, just cause of how useful that would be even when i didn’t *need* to be but time control would rock too :) |
| User | dismentled | 2007-01-11 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | "with great power comes great responsibility" Isn’t that from Spiderman? Not that I’m complaining, Spidey is probabily the collest hero ever, but at least give credit where credit is due. I still say the ability to give mind blowing orgams in the blink of an eye. Try to loose an arguement doing that! "you stupid fucking...oh god, oh honey, let me sit down" see, how could you go wrong?

| User | Finnigan | 2007-01-10 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | It’s a tie between controlling time and mind-manipulation. You could go back in time to cheat your way out of your blind date, cheat on tests, and move people to do stupid things to others. If you could manipulate the mind, then you can make people swoon to your feet and bow down to you. I’m about the bad, but I’m pretty sure there’s a bunch of good ways to put the powers to use. |
