| User | Azuire | | Topic | Slash Fiction | | Message | Slash fiction is becoming a popular genre both read and written, that is, if anyone admits to reading/writing it without maintaining anonymity. I’m doing a psychology project for school, exploring the motivations behind the creation and sustenance of this genre of fiction. Most specifically, slash fanfiction, and its graphic counterpart in the comic world.
However, very very few people I know read/write slash without ulterior motives, so, does anyone have tips or opinions that I could use? Thanks.
P.S. Any good slash fiction/comic would also be appreciated. It gives me something to analyse. |

Just go to fanfiction.net and jump into the cesspool. Bad writers can’t hide their ulterior psychological motives like good writers might, so it’ll actually be easier not to be selective. |

I hate that shit. |

It seems to be quite an intricate genre and alot of the rules and guides defining what makes a story "slash" are frequently contested by someone, but it’s a good idea for a project and I wish you the best of luck with that.
