| Message | I don’t understand what all the hype and hoopla surrounding homosexuality is about. What is it about Gay people that freak society out? Why is it any of anyone else’s business what someone does in the bedroom? Why is it such a huge, take it to the Supreme Court issue when homosexuals want to have the same right as everyone else and get married, adopt a child, work with children etc etc. I don’t understand why they aren’t looked at like anyone else. Who says it’s wrong? The bible and man-made religion? Yeah, they also say you’re not suppose to have pre-marital sex, sex without the possibility of procreation or sex any other way but missionary. Somehow I think their archaic way of thinking doesn’t fit into our modern life. So let me know you’re take on why this is such a huge deal. |

| Message | i tend to think there’s a reliable ratio in regards to those who judge something as harmless as sexuality: the more intense the opinion, the more insecure that person is about themselves. i used to worry about people’s opinions, and get offended when someone around me said ’fag’, and all that hoop-lah. but those things stemmed from my own insecurity, i judged the people speaking and acting against my lifestyle, even as i spoke about how i didn’t want to be judged for my own. people who are secure in their sexuality don’t tend to judge, i’ve noticed. the ones who do, well, their opinion is their own, but i wouldn’t be surprised one bit if they have a few issues of their own. |
