| User | Chell | | Topic | The Future of Earth | | Message | I have found myself becoming more and more concerned about the world that my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will inherit.
I’d like your concepts of where the world will be in 2026, 2046, and 2066. (20, 40, and 60 years from now.)
Please focus of things you see impacting the future of the Earth, ie: polution, extinction of animal and plant species, green house effects, nuclear weapons, AIDS, etc.
I also want to know if you have any ideas on how to fix the current problems so our future generations don’t have to live (or die) with our mistakes. |

I feel that though at first it would be great, we’d eventually become bored due to the same thing over and over again. We as humans need variety. Hence piquerism, S&M, beastiality, golden showers, etc. As it is now you can get a horse dick transplant if you really want to, and the tounge to go with it. But that still doesn’t insure you’ll know how to use it. It’s like starting guitar and buying a Gibson, its still too much for you too utilize properly. Also I say to stop the war just give them all the drugs that we "confisgate". Supposedly we burn them, yeah, right. But I say fuck the bomb, hit the bong. Stike an aerial attack and drop all the pot we confiscated, along with the drug paraphinillia in a big crate and watch all the wars stop and econmy boom due to rise in junk-food consumtion, which will lead to more doctors visits, and dieters. Than we can all live in "utopia". But until than i’ll just take myself on a one-way trip. |

| User | Chell | 2006-06-10 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | I agree, Joey.
Mother earth is a powerful healer. I think she could return to balance very quickly. (Like in the area around Chernoble- scientists were sure it would be barren for hundreds of years, and yet, only 10 years later there was foliage and animals.)
I think earth will fix itself, the quesiton is whether we will still be here or will have succeeded in eliminating ourselves.
The earth doesn’t need us to survive... |

I really don’t think it’s too late, not yet anyway. But we ARE running out of time... |
| User | Astra | 2006-06-10 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | I have expressed my views about this so many times I feel only one word will get through to those who don’t care or don’t understand about what will happen. What will become of the earth.
Death, destruction. Thanks to us, and it’s too late, and almost everyone is still in the "let them worry about it, who cares, I still got time" idiotic mood.
I think that car makers need to start using ethenol and that ethenol should start being produced in many places, instead of the ex-rainforest land in the Amazon, and that every country or area should specialize in some sort of agriculture or earth-healthy production. Take out all of the factories, little by little, and try to fix it.
THOUGH IT’S STILL TOO LATE!!!
Also, I think that zoos should be outlawed and if you want to learn about animals, you should go to a refuge, while a lot of them should expand and in areas that contain of certain animals’ natural habitat. Then, the animals would be safe. I think those who kill animals or poach or whatever should be given the same sentence as a the culprit in a homocide. NOT THAT IT WOULD HELP NOW ANYWAY. ITS TOO LATE!! THANKS TO THOSE A** ****S!!! |
| User | kanu | 2006-06-01 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | I remember one old man telling me about his life during the depression - for entertainment (which was only possible on the weekends because everyone worked so hard for such small rewards) the family would dress up int heir best clothes and go for a walk together .. I couldn’t help but think that due to growing up in such an environment had helped shape his character - which was quite impressive .... |

I totally love that Freya, it’s so true.
Yeah, another Depression would totally suck, considering that half this country is already quite depressed as it is.

| User | Blue Monk | 2006-05-22 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Earth is for the most part a giant engine of equilibrium. If we heat the oceans by causing "global warming" we then witness that heat energy transferred into massive storms which move fresh water (lots of it) inland to douche various blights on the landscape. Some of the blights may be human cities, but that’s the way it works. |
| User | ghostknight | 2006-05-22 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | haha, if america falls the whole world will be celebrating. |
| User | darkness | 2006-05-22 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | this is what i think
first america is gonna fall kinda like the old soviet and then India and then the whole world will be in chaos... |

| User | kanu | 2006-05-20 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Exactly toxic it is a question of utility and not endeavour - if you built a better premises for your business it would depend entirely on what the proceeds of the business went to and what was the nature of the business. Just simply doing something is a waste of time - and practically thats what modern techology is like a whole lot of doing and hardly much thinking |

| User | Toxic_Rayne | 2006-05-19 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | so building like a large skyscraper is stupid? If someone builds a hospital, is that stupid? If someone builds a church is that stupid as well? And you wouldn’t be proud if the skyscraper you built gave your business more room to work? You wouldn’t be proud if the hospital you built gave home to the sick and dying? and you wouldn’t be proud if the church you built helped people have a place to pray? (even though personally I don’t think people should even go to church to pray)
