Message	I have three tattoos and love every one of them. But I’d suggest not ever having someone’s name or a matching symbol done with another. It’s asking for trouble. Don’t know why, but every time someone gets a name done, they’re back in my friends shop getting a cover-up done- usually within 6 months. He doesn’t mind. It’s more income for him, but it’s something he tries to talk people out of. If you want one, make sure it’s something you can look at every day and not ahte it. I’d suggest getting the pic and putting somewhere you will wee it every day for a couple months. If you still like it after that long, you should be good to go! Tatto’s are art, albeit still a deviant art- but times are changing and it’s not so taboo. Just like pierced ears were a sign of a slut, having a pager meant you were a drug dealer, and mini-skirts were going to ruin the moral fiber of this country. 9Oh wait, that last one might have happened...lol)

Message	i want a tattoo but i can’t get one but it doesn’t matter if you have a tattoo or anything that’s your descion and your stuck with it for life. I mean it’s your body and nobody else’s so why should they care really? I mean if its racist or something i see why people would get mad but that’s your descion to put something like that on your body.

Message	why get something permanent that can screw your life. i know this one person who got a small rose tattoo on her ankle. her life is screwed because the ink or something infected her leg and gave her bad hips way too early.

Message	If you hate pain, I would definitely say to stay away from getting a tatt. Not only does it hurt for the actually process, but the swelling and healing can be very uncomfortable. I just kind had the thought process since I was a kid that physical pain goes away so it doesn’t really bother me that much. If you’re careful and the place you go is clean there’s actually very little risk of infection. It’s when people don’t do what their suppose to, use dirty needles or something like that that is gets nasty. But I can definitely see why you’d want to stay away from them. *onetruesmartass*

Message	I have heard tales also. I of course don’t have his name on me either. But I think that as a heart patient, I aviod any chance of infection when possible. And I hate pain. I will just draw his name on me for free. lol. Maggie

Message	Exactly, and I’ve heard tons of horror stories about people getting tatts of their significant others name and then not even six months later they’re broken up. Now, I really don’t think that’ll happen to my husband and me, but it’s still a little scary. I think I would probably do it anyway. He’s my first love, my first husband and the father of my children, so maybe a little tribute tatt wouldn’t be so bad. Hmm..feelin’ the urge for ink! lol *onetruesmartass*

Message	My husband got my name tattooed on his arm three weeks after we started dating. We were 16 and I thought he was insane. But 13yrs later, here we are. I still haven’t gotten his name on me..thinking about it tho. I think getting names is tricky. Of course, getting children, parents or even a beloved pet is different from a friend or love. But definitely not something to be done on a whim. *onetruesmartass*

Message	I think it is more of a statement Buzz, speaking from experiecne of seeing my bf getting a tattoo of my name on him. It’s a visible form of self expression. A bold way to announce yourself to the world. I don’t think it ties in with self esteem the way you think of it as. But, I could be wrong also. I don’t even have a tat yet! lol. I use the fake ones, and I do to make a statement, or to draw attention to my ass. Works like a charm. lol. Maggie

Message	I think that many people get tattoos because they are not content with themselves. They think that their physical appearance is not good enough and try to distract people by looking at the tattoo. That is what I think... It might not be true Peace.

Message	im too young to get tattoos. But i plan on gettin 1 0r 2 when im of age. Its an art. Its what makes people unique. And if sum pple dont think its apart of art they need to get some class. I dont care what pple think of me. This is a little off topic but its true. I think tattoos are like memorials of ppl of thing that ppl have expereince. Sum ppl do it to releive stress. I dont think ppl should be judged for having tattoos. Its crazy. One of theses days pple who judged other will be judged themselves. and just for judgeding those ppl with tattoos thats a sin. Getting tattoos is a sin, its ruining the temple but ppl sin every day, so no sin is bigger than the other so why should it matter. Tattoos are cool and if any body has anything cruitical to say about this post they can kiss my ass.
