Pez is the god of candy. Jolly Ranchers are orgasmic, if slightly dangerous because of the choke-to-death factor. Crybabies are nice, but they lose their flavor too fast. Same goes for Tear Jerkers. Nerds are yummy. SuperSour Blowpops are so very. Bubble gum is a neccessity of life. Jordon Almonds are okay.... |

At least I used to love ’em. Maybe it’s age-related, once the female hormones kick in we forget dextrose-based sweets and go for chocolate. Anyway, I’ve only ever had really stale ones in Michigan. Could be the humidity. Under the proper conditions, they melt in your mouth gently and gradually, never sharp or hard-edged, coating everything in chalk, citric acid flavor crystals, and sweet, subtle dextrose. Worst: Mary Janes. I should’ve just lynched the people who handed those out on Halloween; I probably could’ve had the whole neighborhood on my side. |

| Message | Oooohhh! That’s a tough one :) I like Nerd Ropes on Sunday, Reeses on Monday, Baby Ruths on Tuesday, Snickers on Wednesday, Kit Kats on Thursday, Sunflower seeds (I’m gonna qualify them as candy :) any day, just Coke on Friday, and just Pepsi on Saturday.
Makes it easier to decide what candy I’m gonna eat every day if I have a specific candy bar for a specific day ;) |
