 Topic  The End Times
Message  Do you think the world will come to an end one day? Or do you think it will run on and on forever? Or perhaps we’ll have another dinosaur episode and keep starting over again? What are your opinions on this? Please explain the best you can by what you mean.

Message  the universe is continuously expanding. and the sun is continuously dying. eventually we’ll either fall out of orbit -- because the moon would’ve moved too far away and we’ll either fall into the sun or freeze to death. and if the sun burns out we freeze to death. but i think if anything we might fall into the sun first. i dunno why. i think it will be cooler -- like the planet kryptonite, you know? superman’s home planet? hehe. whatevers.

Message  but that doesn’t end the world, only your participation in it (that is leaving the material world and entering the spiritual world)

Message  If you examine the phenomena of time it seems to occur in cycles (days/nights, months, seasons, years, etc) so time is cyclic (as opposed to linear) - also time tends to erode things (like say winter) and get get revitalised (like spring) so it is generally a question of gradual de-evolution that is finally succeeded by re-establishing the proper article.

Message  can’t really explain it in detail, but consider this: the universe is constanttly expanding, it’s practically verified by observation. now think about gravity. an object can only be so big until its mass outweighs its ability to sustain such mass. it will collapse in on itself due to its own gravitational pull. if the universe is expanding at an exponential rate, discluding relativity and the incomprehensible size of the current universe, doesn’t it seem inevitable that eventually it (the universe) will collapse due to its own sheer size? the second half of that observation is, wouldn’t such a huge amount of energy gathered into one point (as in mathematical, not an actual zero-point) create such an energetic reaction that it would have no choice but to disperse, thus creating an entirely new universe in the process?

that’s the theory of the big bang, in a small, small nutshell. i know i’ll hear some crap now since i mentioned the heretical words, but justt consider it. there may never be an ’end of the world’, hell, there may have never been a beginning. just because our conscious world may be destroyed doesn’t mean we don’t exist in some other form of the universe. it’s complicated. look up singularities if you truly want someone else’s opinion, that’s the best i can do without getting scientific.
