| Message | ok here is an issue most every one has. the music you listen to weather you like it or not describes who you are. for example i listen to marilyn manson and i am labled a "freak" and a " devil worshiper " and like every bad thing i do my parents go " it’s the music you listen to. and we argue what is with that? |

| Message | Thus far i have never found a male singer that i would put before even the worst female singer. It is true that i would listen to sonata arctica before i would listen to The gathering but that is all about the overall music of the band and in truth Anneke van Giersbergen is a better singer than Tony Kakko. Of course when you get into metal music like 90% of the male singers sing extreme vocals and the ones who do sing clean are horrible like Fabio Lione or Khan or Ville |

| Message | Men can’t sing? What? Someone should tell that to Bing Crosby and Sinatra and every other male singer who has been singing since for ever. Even NSync could sing. Their harmonies were great. Can’t say what they sang about was always worth it but they could sing. |

| Message | screaming or growling is good when it is countered by a talented female, such as epica or after forever or forever slave but eh best ever song like that is Nymphetamine fix by cradle of filth featureing Liv Kristine who now sings with Leaves Eyes also another great band. Another good band with screaming/growling is tristania. Most of the time i do not like songs with all extreme vocals (of course i hardly listen to male fronted bands sorry but us guys cannot sing :) but there are exceptions like Dimmu Borgir or old mans child. Extreme vocals usualy are never done ritght because the music that supports it sucks. Give the good clean vocals of Tarja Turunen or Simone Simons or Sharon den Adel or Christina Scabbia or Floor Jansen etc. |
