 Topic  Presdent 08?
Message  Is it to early to discuss the American Presidential election in 2008?

The latest poles I’ve seen show Hillary Clinton as the leading candidadte for the democrats followed by Al Gore, John Edwards, John Kerry, Wesley Clark and Joe Biden. Haven’t most of these people lost before??

On the Republican side, heading the wish list is Rudy Giuliani, followed by John McCain, Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Bill Frist and George Allen.

In one-on-one poles, current trends show:
McCain beating Clinton, Gore or Kerry
Giuliani beating Clinton, Gore, Kerry or Edwards
Jeb Bush losing to Clinton or Gore (ah, that name recognition)
Rice losing to Edwards or Clinton (that would be a scary choice), but beating Kerry

Message  The Clintons and the Bushes have enough dirt on each other and on everyone else that "it’s Hillary’s turn", no contest. The idea that you really have a choice is a joke.

Message  Who the fuck really cares at this point. I voted for the loser in the last election. But whomever gets elected will likely be a popmass jackass. And if we do get the first female president ever, she’ll be too conservative, (even though she declares herself a liberal) to make that big a difference. Gore, Kerry, and Edwards already lost, so that doesn’t look that good. However I think the front-runner as is in every-election is the the current vice-president Dick, however I don’t think he’ll get it either. No matter what happens this worlds going to hell anyways, hopefully they’ll just take us there a little slower.
