What the questin is pertaining to would be the so-called supernatural beings of darkness. Forced to live a soul-less life in solitude; taking lives just to remain un-dead, in a way working against itself, taking a life to ensure you remain undead. Psychic vamps. just aren’t as fun, they prefer to work alone, and often "feed" without concent. While the "bloodsuckers" (vamps, not taxcollectors) often feed off submissive prey who gets pleasure from the deprevation. |

The say that blood contains the life force, and energy vampires, instead of sucking blood, suck on the life force directly and without leaving a mark. They are malicious people with a gaping whole that needs to be filled by draining other people by talking to them in a tiring manner, exhausting them, or just being around them, and feeding off their energy.
