| User | dismentled | 2006-07-16 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | actually a good number of serial killers suffer from erotoronophilia, a obsessive compulsive sexual disorder. And the majority of those who have one paraphilia, have 3-4 others that coincide. And while some admitably loathe pron with a passion and think it’s detestable, the majority are borderline nymphomaniacs. With a grappaling sexual desire that can’t be sustained by soft-core porn. And leads them into extreme BDSM and unusual fetishes. IE Piquerism, nechrophilia, autoerotphilia, etc. "I don’t know your fucking name, so, what, lets fuck!"-korn |

| User | alteredlife | 2006-07-11 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | A couple of people have gone on about VISUAL pornography... isn’t this a writing site? So, isn’t it WRITTEN pornography we’re talking about? And if so, Mills & Boon romance novels anyone? That’s soft-porn literature right there which I’ve had the misfortune to read one of once out of curiousity... it’s not my thing but it’s not something that I would disapprove of being posted here on ES.
As for children reading this? My understanding is that you have to be at least 13 years old to sign up to this site... which is hardly a child to me. And really (talking about adolescent boys here), how many 13 year olds haven’t seen pornography of some sort?
Back to my comparison between Sex and Death, but with visual implications: how many of you would be offended to see visual suicides or death of any kind? You think that’s less offensive than visual pornography? Both are offensive to people, granted, but seeing people doing themselves in or killing others in pictorial form would shock me far more than seeing people’s naughty bits.
Just a comparison.
And no, I don’t write erotic literature, but I thought I’d state my opinion here... for the last time, I might add.
Happy mass-debating... |
| User | alteredlife | 2006-07-11 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | And writing about sex is worse than the gazillion poems about suicide? Sex is wrong but death isn’t? It’s all part of life I thought... but I guess I’m wrong... |
| User | alteredlife | 2006-07-11 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | ... Again, I state for the third time now... WRITTEN, not VISUAL erotica... BIG DIFFERENCE... and have you asked Jimmy personally Jeniffer? |
| User | Jeniffer | 2006-07-11 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Leave ES alone! If you want to look at ugly pictures of naked, nasty people, go to one of the million gazillion porn sites on the internet and google and drool away, but don’t you dare pollute this site for the younger members whose parents actually give a damn about what they see on the computer screen!
Jimmy won’t let you do it, any way, so there. |

| User | SonAsylum | 2006-07-10 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | I am not against porn or anything, god knows I have seen my share of it, but I am a believer of seperation of porn and poetry. If you need that stuff and poetry at the same time try opening a new window (CTRL+N) and surfing to a porn site, that is the beauty of of technology these days, and you do not even have to leave this site.

| User | NoMartyr | 2006-07-10 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | So wait... we aren’t allowed to write about sex on this site? |
| User | alteredlife | 2006-07-09 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | I think there’s a difference between ’looking’ at porn and ’reading’ porn i.e. erotic non-fiction/fiction. I know at least one writer here on ES who’s written a few erotic prose-pieces-- and they’ve received positive commentary.
Writing about a sexual experience is just another facet of life. Is that meant to be censored according to some people’s tastes in what is proper and what isn’t? God forbid... what next?
Freedom of speech anyone...? And yes, I’m aware really objectionable written material could fit into this category... i.e. hate-speeches of any kind, illegal activities etc... but as far as I know, sex isn’t illegal. And neither is writing about it.
Again, you have a personal choice when it comes to reading it or not. |
| User | ghostknight | 2006-07-09 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | there’s no question about posting porn here. how did this even become an issue? if you want to look at porn, god knows there’s a million sites outside of ES. duh. |
| User | NoMartyr | 2006-07-09 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Not everything has to have a nude people to be enjoyed. I’m all in favor of pornography, looking at and doing what you want, and touching your body in any way you see fit, but I don’t see why it would be nessisary to post porn here. Erotic fiction or erotic non-fiction would be fine, I don’t see any rules against them. Plus, I write poems about sex all the time. But what would posting actual pornography serve? Let’s save the pr0n for where it already is. |
