This news story is always slanted to make Dextromethorphan look like it’s what hurt the kids, when really it’s the kids ignorance and the OTHER drugs put into the pills. States are talking about banning Dextromethorphan and Dex-related products because of these stupid kids. Some places have Dex behind the counter, which is fucking stupid and should be illegal because they are supposed to be availiable for everyone.
The reality is, DXM is a pretty safe drug. If you plan on taking it, you just have to look for medicines that have DXM as the ONLY active ingredient. I think it’ ridiculous that people are actually trying to ban the sale of it. We’re a fucking race that was founded on drugs that lives in a society that THRIVES because of and on them. Heaven forbid a few people do something with their bodies that they want to do. Aside from obviously releiving cold symptoms, Dextromethorphan is perfect for enlightening meditation, getting things off of your chest, discovering things about yourself you didn’t know you knew, connecting with friends in a positive enlightening manner, connecting with the earth, connecting with people around you.
How is it, that the government is what decides what is okay to put in your body, and not you or your doctor? The government doesn’t need to know you, look at you, examine you, know if you’re male or female to know that certain things shouldn’t go in to your body. WHY THE FUCK IS THAT?! |
