It doesn’t matter where your from, I just don’t like them. But mainly, I don’t like them on girls. I don’t mind them on guys. I watched Green Street Hooligans the other night. Their accents were fuckin sexy. I was thinking maybe it’s because I’m a female, that I dont like them on other females. And maybe males dont like it on other males? ... Is it the same with you guys? |

| Message | Everyone has accents. You might not be aware of it because you are around people with the same accent, but don’t be so naive, everyone has an accent. How do you think all the different languages come from?? They are mostly derrived of another one in another area and develpoe different accents, etc. to make it differente with time and culture. |

| Message | We all have accents... sorry. I’m from Southeastern Michigan, and I used to think I didn’t have an accent, but I was in Kentucky just talking to someone and she knew I was from Michigan because of my accent. |

I just can’t uderstand what their saying! lol My husband is from West Virginia and when he’s tired or angry it comes out, so I know what you mean about that slow talk. *shiver* There is something to it, isn’t there?

| Message | A New Orleans accent is like music (just listen to Harry Connick, Jr!) and a Virginia accent s smooth as satin. Both are slo-o-ow, but you just don’t care because they are absolutely delicious.
I am also from the Pacific Northwest, by way of Texas, south from Kansas. When I get very tired, or am around others from the south, my accent comes back. I moved to the Northwest when I was in high school. It was a matter of self-preservation to lose it. Either that or be called "Tex" for all four years of high school! mae |

I’m from the Pacific Northwest and am sure I sound pretty funny to someone from the South or East coast, let alone someone from another country. I think accent’s are sexy and interesting, whether its from a male or female. But I gotta agree, those guys on Green Street Hooligan’s are HOT HOT HOT! lol

I’m getting tired of the "jah, you betcha" and "uff’da" thing too. Montana just might not work out for me cause of these freakish accents :P Just kidding... but Northerner’s do bug me! |
