Message	*im srry that you had to go through such a difficult time trying to be a good mother.* Thank you, but the whole thing made me a better person, so I can’t really justify holding a grudge. As for my ex being a worm who seeks nothing but fulfillment of self- he wasn’t ready to be a dad, he used procreation as a way to keep me with him, knowing I would work to cover both of us out of some sense of propriety. Giving birth at 20 without a career has completely altered where I wanted to be by now. I fully planned on having children, but not until I was ready. And I was sooo not ready. And my kids have suffered for it. I don’t think I could have aborted; fortunately I had a large family of friends who have helped. If I hadn’t had that support, I might have opted to wait until I could provide better. I’d still have had my boys- God wanted me to parent these two. Why, I don’t know.. I just accept it. . **i don’t know why but i believe that it is wrong in God’s eyes and it doesn’t mean that any woman who commits abortion is a bad person, or is any less of a person then i am, or you.** This is exactly why we can’t make abortion illegal. In order for something to be classified as murder, it has to be able to be punished as murder. I hope we’re not ready to start dragging normally kind, loving, supportive women out of their families to convict them of murder and apply the required punishments. We will be putting well-trained doctors in prison for caring enough to stop a woman from ingesting rat poison, using a coat hanger, or purposefully falling down stairs. Which victim do we chose to support? It’s a timeless argument. That’s why we need to put our energies into better birth control. 100% effective birth control would COMPLETELY end abortion and all this talk. NOTHING i don’t want ppl to be forced to have to read the bible and forcing someone to worship is not really worship anyways and it is wrong. to only listen to what Jesus points out in his short human life is a bit ignorant (in my OPINION) since Jesus was God in human form, and God talks through and to ppl in numerous ways in the bible, and today. but like i said..OPINION. Jesus didn’t want people to be forced to worship him, and im not trying to do that, i just wanted to help, in a way i think i should help. and i don’t know why but i believe that it is wrong in God’s eyes and it doesn’t mean that any woman who commits abortion is a bad person, or is any less of a person then i am, or you. btw, what is real? something you can feel ...touch? electric impulses being sent to your brain by your nervous system can you feel bacteria? can you smell it? can you taste it? can you SEE it? just because you can’t sense it with your humanary senses doesn’t mean it’s not real. we look at dinosaur bones today and though we have no ACTUAL proof of what time they roamed the earth, or what color their skin was, ect. we know they were there. because we have thier fossials. their remains of what they did or what they once were are there not signs of God’s presence among our earth today? faith is PROOF of things unseen. Jesus came to this earth to serve as an exampe as how we are to live our lives

Message	Isn’t the concept of having a soul part of religion? Self-awareness is the term used by science; there is no way to prove the existence of ’spirit’ or ’soul’ as a separate entity from the human body. As far as science can prove, the brain gets food and it lives; neuronal circuits are activated by the presence of ions and a supply of energy, causing it to become ‘aware’. Without nourishment, it dies and can’t be revived. Based on my instincts, I am a passionate opponent of ending unborn life However, I don’t see how anyone can prove abortion as being tantamount to murder without bringing up speculations or religious beliefs not backed by science. There is no indisputable evidence that a human fetus isn’t, as Chell says, anything more than a shell. Having said that, I still believe that stricter laws should be made to restrict abortion, if not illegalize it. While there isn’t much to prove that fetuses have what makes homo sapiens ‘human’, there is really nothing to prove otherwise either. I don’t know about you guys, but moral intuition tells me that science or no science, sucking out a five month old embryo’s brains is a bad ass thing to do.

Message	I’ve never had an abortion. I had to drop out of college one semester shy of completing my A.A.S. when my boyfriend decided to use a sewing needle to poke holes in the condoms I made him wear. I was I was kicked out of my house for being pregnant out of wedlock. I had to work two full time jobs and a part time job while pregnant to put a roof over my head. My college plans, my desired career in counseling, my ability to make something better for myself and my children was taken away when someone else decided I should become a mom at 19 years of age. (We got married to try to make the situation more ‘right’. And, surprise, surprise, he walked out of his infant sons life when he was 8 weeks old.) I am aware of the effects of abortion on women. I’ve supported nine friends through making that roughest of decision in their young lives. All are still alive, doing well, and while they worry about people treating them badly for making the decision they have, none of them would have made a different decision. If abortion is made illegal because some believe its murder, while others don’t, then it IS forcing religious beliefs. You are legally allowed to worship Jesus because you believe in Him. Others believe in Krishna, or Buddha, or the god and goddess and are allowed to hold to their beliefs. You have the freedom to congregate and worship as you see fit. You can proselytize, picket abortion clinics, and even refuse to join the military because of religious beliefs. Others have the right to be completely unfettered by your beliefs- even the one on abortion. Because, until everyone believes abortion is murder, then it’s just an opinion, and we shouldn’t have laws based on opinions. I’m glad you like that I stand up for my beliefs. Unfortunately, you don’t seem to know what I believe. I don’t think the Bible is full of crap. I think the Bible is the most important book on the planet for me. It holds the timeless teachings of Jesus Christ; teachings that are the key to living in peace with yourself and others. The difference between me and most mainstream Christians is that I only listen to Jesus. He had 33 years to mention that the abortions being carried out in his day and age were murder, and he didn’t. I can’t believe he could forget to mention such an atrocious act towards ‘babies’ if he saw abortion as murder. I don’t like knowing that the news will begin carrying stories about women accidentally committing suicide while trying to self-abort an unwanted pregnancy. I won’t like hearing about the increase of abuse from mothers who didn’t want to be mothers, but decide to try and fail. I don’t look forward to the orphanages that will be needed for the million plus babies born ever year after it’s illegal. I guess you can believe that being in heaven with God because your mother aborted your body before you were born is worse than being in a foster car home. **well, i dunno, i mean, atleast they’re not being murdered.** Did you know, national data on child death caused by abuse show that a child is nearly twice as likely to die of abuse in foster care as in the general population? (U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Administration on Children, Youth and Families. Child Maltreatment 2002) In group homes there are more than ten times the rate of physical abuse and more than 28 times the rate of sexual abuse as in the general population in 2002. (Mary I. Benedict and Susan Zuravin, Factors Associated With Child Maltreatment by Family Foster Care Providers, Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health) Abortion is painful- in many ways. I know it’s not for me. But I also know it’s not right to force my beliefs on others, or to force others to act according to my personal beliefs. Now, seeing as you didn’t want to get into this topic, I’m letting it drop- if you will. We’ll never agree anyways, and others don’t seem to want this to continue...

Message	Why did you bring it up? I simply stated that you’re winning. The supreme court agreed with you. Today should be a happy day for you. Stop stressing- but be aware that just because you believe something doesn’t mean you have the right to force that belief on others. For some, freedom OF religion means believing a fetus is a human shell, not a living breathing person. Is your religious belief legally more important than theirs? Would you want laws forcing you to behave in a way you don’t believe- based solely on the interpretations others have in regards to a holy book that you don’t believe in?

Message	our "FORE FATHERS" came to this country to practice freedom OF religion not freedom FROM religion. yeah who gives a fuck about the religion that person practices our "justice" system punishes or atleast pretends to, punishes murderers. frankly i don’t give a fuck what kind of person the woman is she’s still a murderer, which doesn’t make that unforgivable in God’s eyes and doesn’t mean she’s a bad person, but she commited a crime. and by the way they just made a new law banding kinds of abortion which tells me that they KNOW it’s wrong, but they let themselves believe that it’s okay from what scientist say (it’s not actually alive unless it’s birthed) so they don’t hear any shit from women around the U.S. about how they should have the right to do what ever the hell they want with "THEIR" bodies, and they should, but killing your baby for your own regard is not having the right to do with what you want with your body and your life, it’s having the right to MURDER without being persucuted. yeah, im so freaking worried about the police coming to get my medical records without reason. that’s SOOO much more important than ppl being free to run around have sex (mostly unprotected sex) and when they =O get pregnant (like it could never happen) deal with the after effects of it. Which would be all fine and dandy if the after effects weren’t KILLING/ENDING THE LIFE OF a living breathing person. or innocent babies oh im sorry underdeveloped human shells YEAH FUCKING RITE. what the fuck ever and don’t start with the whole religion bullshit. the bible (i don’t give a fuck if you believe it or not) DOES say that it is wrong the bible says "thou shalt not murder" and true you can’t kill something that isn’t alive. Message	Hell is a Christian idea. Only about 33% of the people in this world believes in God, Jesus, heaven, and Hell. The other 66% of people have found out how to be Good without fear of hell, an angry Father, a purgatory, etc. The first, and most important amendment to the Constitution states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." Our forefathers didn’t want to see the U.S. become a "Christian nation"- ruled and run my one particular religion- which is why the first amendment is so important. (Keep in mind that our ancestors came to the US to get away from a country run my a religion.) Our laws have to encompass all members of our society- not just Christians. And in order to make laws fair to all people they Can Not ostracize those who are not Christian. And MJ, don’t stress the abortion thing- the current Supreme Court will overthrow abortion before too much longer. (Keep in mind that when they do, it will mean that cops can come and dig through your medical records anytime they want.) Then we’ll just have to deal with pregnant women suiciding. but I guess it makes more sense to lose two lives instead of one...
