WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE! *cough* Well, I haven’t actually been on an areoplane WHICH SUCKS, caus I can’t afford it WHICH SUCKS. But, if I could afford it, I’d still travel because if I didn’t THAT WOULD BE WHAT THE TERRORIST WANT. Show no weakness, grab a big pokey stick and to the Terrorist land we gooo!

Message	Suddenly? The authorities knews about this plot for 7 months. (The U.S. Knew about 9/11- not the exact date- but the plot, clear back into the Clinton administration.) I think our government security agencies have gone about things in a very backwards way. They had lax security so more people would spend their money and fly. But lax security cost over 3,000 lives on September 11th, 2001 and could have cost as many, if not more, if the current plot had been carried out. I’m glad it was foiled. The only point of ponder for me was the timing. The timing was very (planned?) fortunate for the Republican Party in the States. When people get scared they become conservative. If you are a amember of the conservative side which has supported a president that the whole country disapproved of, and many others hate, it’s helpful when bad things happen... As for stopping future attacks- information was good enough to halt this one, but who knows- we may or may not know what they’re planning. These extremists will simply start poking at the new safety rules, looking for a different hole they can exploit. They have a mission, a long term goal, and they aren’t going to roll over and say, "Dang, well, I guess we gve up and quit trying." As for flying? Send me a ticket! Extremists win when they create enough fear that it causes people to stop doing what they want to do. I would rather die, free, in an airplane, on my way to see the pyramids than cower in a corner, glued to the television, afraid of going outside, because something Might happen. I think it’s time to become intolerant of intolerance. We are seeing it in every corner of the world- extremeists blowing up airplanes to halt travela nd trade, extremists blowing up whole countries in an effort to take out a small group of extremists, extremist blowing up buildings in attempts to stop a medical proceedure they don’t agree with... Claiming your way is the right, the true, the ONLY way leaves no room for compassion, understanding, tolerance, cohabitation and love. And we need to bring those vitues back to our planet. I may be a liberal, a mother, a wife, a friend, a lover, a daughter, a poet, a painter, a songwriter, a piano player, a Washingtonian, and American, and an agnostic, but MOST OF ALL, I am a Human. I say it’s time for all of us to grow up and stop killing other Humans.

Message	True. We shouldn’t fear what is to come. There’s no point in fearing it when its going to eventually happen anyways. I doubt I’ll ever be flying anywhere, unless I need to.

Message	The problem is that we have react to things. You can bet the terrorists are already thinking up new and better ways to get by security. No, eventually one of their plots will succeed. It’’s only a matter of time. But if we live in the fear they want to create then they win.
