Con man or telling the truth about his ’natural cures’?

I was about to buy his newest book (he has two that I know of) while at the store the other day but then somebody said not to trust the man. I may still buy the book to take a gander either way - why not take a look at a witch’s witchcraft first before burning ’em right?

Message  Very true. Keeping and open mind is a really good thing.

Message  I think it’s ok to read any book that catches your interest, as long as you keep an open mind. Don’t believe everything you read, see, or hear- one of my dad’s favorite lines- probably a lot of the reason I am the way I am.

I’d suggest that after reading it you do some research and some digging. That way you’ll then be able to make your own decisions.

Message  right, I usually check with Wikipedia.com for anything I normally come across but my friend was insistent enough for the fact that the man was telling the truth so I became curious. Either way I would be interested to see what he has to say even if there’s no hope in any of it being true (after all I’m a fiction writer by night).

This guy doesn’t sound to savory to me, but I think the Barnum principal applies:

except that Barnum’s business was never considered criminal.
