 Message  Cake: Comfort Eagle

We are building a religion
We are building it bigger
We are widening the corridors
And adding more lanes

We are building a religion
A limited edition
We are now accepting callers
For the pendant key chains

To resist it is useless
It is useless to resist it
His cigarette is burning
But he never seems to ash

He is grooming his poodle
He is living comfort eagle
You can meet at his location
But you better come with cash

Now his hat is on backwards
He can show you his tatoos
He is in the music business
He is calling you "dude!"

Now today is tomorrow
And tomorrow today
And yesterday is weaving in and out

And the filthy white lines
That the airplane leaves behind
Are drifting right in front
Of the waining of the moon

He is handling the money
He’s serving the food
He knows about your party
He is calling you "dude!"

Now do you believe
In the one big sign
The doublewide shine
On the bootheels of your prime

Doesn’t matter if you’re skinny
Doesn’t matter if you’re fat
You can dress up like a sultan
In your onion head hat

We are building a religion
We are making a brand
We’re the only ones to turn to
When your castles turn to sand

Take a bite of this apple
Mr. corporate events
Take a walk through the jungle
Of cardboard shanties and tents

Some people drink pepsi
Some people drink coke
The wacky morning dj
Says domocracy’s a joke

He says now do you believe
In the one big song
He’s now accepting callers
Who would like to sing along

She says, do you believe
In the one true edge
By fastening your safety belts
And stepping towards the ledge

He is handling the money
He is serving the food
He is now accepting callers
He is calling me "dude!"

Now do you believe
In the one big sign
The doublewide shine
On the bootheels of your prime

There’s no need to ask directions
If you ever lose your mind
We’re behind you
We’re behind you
And let us please remind you
We can send a car to find you
If you ever lose your way

We are building a religion

We are building it bigger

We are building

A religion

A limited

Edition

We are now accepting callers...
For these beautiful...
Pendant keychains

Message  It’s the future I can see...it’s so mysterious to me...I try to save the situation but then I end up misbehavin’...go with the flow...er, something like that.

God’s dice are loaded..lol, good one honey.

You wanna know what’s in the future? Just do what those eastern meditating masters tell you and look deep, deep within yourself....the paralyzing fear will reveal all....

Message  I heard a wonderful quote from Mark Twain today (love that guy’s quips).

"History doesn’t necessarily repeat itself, but it does rhyme."

I think that’s why the problems always seems so similar from generation to generation. They rhyme.

Message  Problems are usually caused by not thinking but we must also remember that Einstein died without solving his ultimate problem, the unified field theory. That’s ok, no one else has either after about 100 years of "advancement".

What are the odds that God’s dice are loaded? I’d say 100%.

Message  The AARP and Democrats are seeing to it that Social (non) Security is doomed. If I could but have a little of MY OWN money to invest the returns would be there and belong to me and my heirs.

Message  That’s a very good point Mae. Blaming previous generations never solves anything. I can only hope that with each passing of time we learn from the mistakes of those before us and change in a way that will benefit everyone. It’s impossible to make everyone happy at the same time as one of the great things of our country is the diversity, but maybe in studying the actions of our forefathers, we can find a way to live peaceably.
As for problems yet to be created, well, we’ll just have to see what can be done about them when they happen.

Message  When I was in my late teens through my twenties, my friends and I swore our generation would solve our country’s problems if only we had power. Through my 30’s, my generation began to come of age and were making our voices heard. But there were new problems. Confidence, however, remained strong. Now my generation is the one in charge, whether you are of a conservative or liberal bent. And there are still problems, some left over from my parents’ and some we’ve invented ourselves. There will always be problems. We used to complain that our parents were leaving theirs for us to solve. I hear the same thing from the generation coming up.

Some problems will not go away - employment, economy, social security, environment - they will take different solutions for each generation. Other problems will be solved once, then they’ll crop up again later - war, immigration, drugs. And then, there will be new ones, unique to your generation.

Every generation changes the country, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worst. Sometimes both. My generation would probably have done a better job if we hadn’t been so sure of ourselves and so condemning of our parents. I’m sure theirs would have and I’m pretty sure that the upcoming generation would as well. Looking at a thing realistically gives you a better shot at understanding all sides of it and responding appropriately.

You WILL change the country, but how will you deal with the problems YOU create?

Message  I have to have hope that my generation will come of the age when we are able to be in positions of power and will start the change our country so desperately needs. I have to hope that our children will grow up, see the problems created and find reasonable ways to fix them. Either that or we all blow up in a massive nuclear attack and then who gives a rip, we’ll all be dead.

A.- Only 25% of the teletubbies are gay (but that’s just a rumor).

Message  LOL, oh god. AE, you are too much. You ever think of doing stand up? Or are you afriad of being boed off stage? Despite the future of the world, whatever it may be we will ALL die; whether it be by "natural" causes, our hands, anothers; or what have you. While I wont argue that that governments is in cahoots with brainwashing. The only thing is, people are actaully starting to realize that, not everything is hunky-dory. We live in a world not yet ready for peace. Fighting for peace, is like fucking for virginity(cliche, sure; but it gets the point across). "EMOS ARE NOT a threat" Hmm, I think as long as we judge, label, and make stipulations will always be in trouble. We as humans are our on worst enemy; we will be our own destrucotrs; it is in our make-up. Ever hear "You are the heros of yesterday, I am the dreams of tommorow, but "they" are the woes of today" To ever grow from were whence we came would require an unheard of unification. We need a new type of president, and I’m not even talking about republican/democrat. Until we actaully get someone who cares more about his people and whats "right/wrong" more than his image, we will always be fucked beyond repair. I do not complain about those who whine, moan, bitch, and complain; like many seem to do now adays with realizing the hippocricy. You can bitch all you want without changin a single thing! I on, the other hand am seeking to make a difference, instead of resenting my peers, society, and government!

Message  The future ,You want to know abut the future, the question is will we ever arise from this dream that EMOS ARE NOT a threat to our society. They poison our children into believing that hope is lost for us. Yes America will fall but it should not be to those eMOS they steal cookies & the tightness of their pants is the sign of evilness. The goverment is definitly in cahoots w/ them using their music to hyptonise minds of the new generation. But seriously all this shit wont in the next century, so say bye to ur damn blogs.
