psychological - vs. - psycho-possible

Who would win in a fight? Eli Roth or the director (who is French) of Silent Hill?

I’m a big fan of Silent Hill and the games - and that new movie 1408 is a lot like their 4th game, ’The Room’ - but then a part of me thinks taking the game to the screen is a challenge and Eli is just twisted (’Cabin Fever’?). Though the monsters in the first Silent Hill movie were extraordinary... whereas the effects in Hostel were sort of ordinary, the only thing is they got to show it (I personally think the eyeball scene was kind of cheesy and didn’t strike me as hard as it did for others).

I hear they have a script or screen play in the works for the second Silent Hill movie, I guess being directed by the same guy. A fifth game of Silent Hill on the way as well.

But you know Hostel is going to be in a trilogy - everything is coming out in 3’s. Ocean’s Thirteen??? Okay, whatever, good movie and all, but is that the thing to do now? Only contracts that promise a 3-part series are being signed?

And a new Rambo? New Die Hard?

But I digress.

If you had a choice, which would you prefer: 1) Death by Silent Hill, and certain horrors and brief moments of insanity, or 2) Death by Hostel... a chance of missing limbs, slow and agonizing deaths and a bunch of rusty stuff?

I do not watch gore for fear it will bruise my delicate mind (even more).
