 Message  On the "brite" side:
Better an honest (if somewhat ignorant) horse’s *ss than an "Et tu Brute"
and,
Better the enemy you know before you than the friend you don’t behind you.

On the "dark side":
They can smell your fear,
and
Be afraid... be very afraid.

Notice how hard both Clinton’s as well as many Republicans now fan the flames of fear and racism across the plains of the ignorant?

Hillary (the dragon lady) exists only to polarize our nation against itself futher as red/blue, rich/poor, liberal/conservative, democrat/republican - much worse than anything black/white/hispanic could ever do. Witness the depths of the clefts carved from the last Clinton’s rule.

We’ve already seen that the tyranny of the majority can be had even without actually having a majority, but if we’re actually stupid enough to elect HER, I’d have to give serious consideration to moving elsewhere, or actually praying a lot for the "end of days" to hurry up.

Obama rules, Clinton drools (but McCain probably does also).

Message  Upon full consideration, in my opinion we’ve already had too many Presidents or even candidates from Harvard and Yale. For this reason alone I hereby rescind my "support" for Obama. Too bad, otherwise I kind of like him.

Message  So, you believe Harvard simply handed Obama (and his wife) a degree because they’re black?
If that was the case, the number of black people with degrees would outnumber the whites with degrees.
Nonsense.

 Message  "Obama is a mongrel?"

Kind of, in a nowadays common act of bestiality his white mother got impregnated by a black man, most people would simply call him a nigger though using the one drop rule.

Due to affirmative action blacks get their diplomas easily. Few professors want to be the one who fails most, if not all, of the black students, and the public out cry this would create on campus. I mean, who would want to lose their job over a bunch of blacks crying racist?

And who would actually believe that blacks can compete when they get preferential treatment allowing them to attend institutions that would be far beyond the grasp of white students who have the same SAT scores?

Message  We appear to be witnessing the Democratic Party’s self-distruction. Who would have thought when this thread started that the Republicans even had a chance in ’08?

Message  Under the "Famous Last Words" category, a certain right-wing common tator is now saying that neither Clinton or Obama can win this next election while others are saying that Clinton is pretty much out of it. Wishful thinking as to both cases, I suspect...

Message  It is a shame (really) that:

"Barak" is the name of our local and honorable Shrine Temple which sponsors the Barak Shrine Circus which everyone loves...
besides, "Barak" is also a proud Jewish biblicial name...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barak_%28disambiguation%29

So why do so many people still fear that Barak Obama might be a closet moslem (and so what if he was?) when his Black African (Moslem) dad left both Barak (Christian) and his white American (atheist) mother when Barak was only two years old?

And why give Obama any flack at all for visiting with "60’s radicals" when Hillary Clinton actually was one?

Duhhhhh...

Ah, but how the mud does fly when the going gets hot.

Trust that the interstate wide, often disgusting, somewhat incredible and even often unbelievable slime trail of the Clintons going back to their immediate post puberty period will be be the mainstay discourse of the truly mass media if Hillary remains in the picture at all.

For a preview, use your favorite search engine to look at "Clinton scandals".

And remember, a vote for McCain is a vote for continuing the current status quo.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Status_quo

which is fine if you really like things exactly as they currently exist.

Message  A little three card monte, anyone?

Ace, King or Queen, they all turn out to be Jokers, but the Queen comes with an extra Joker. But pick a card, any card. They’ve been selected and shuffled by someone other than the electorate, but this is the game we play - and call it Democracy.

If this sounds like a stupid game... it’s played by and for the benefit of the mass media, not the masses.

Message  Ok, Snuffy, here is my take on it...

It doesnt make a damn bit of difference who wins what, when, how and where. Politicians suck, they all lie and tell people what they want to hear. Then, once they got the votes and they are in, they dont do a fucking thing that they said they would. Voting is nothing more than a huge waste of time, unfortunately. Fuck ’em all!!!

:)

Message  Originally I predicted that Hillary would wait until the last minute to drag out the smear campaigns in order to paralize her opponent who would then have no time to recover. She got nervous running behind a "nobody" and has now perhaps jumped the gun a little, but then we have no idea what she’s keeping in reserve. Perhaps a view of those FBI files on many of the "superdelegates" will come in handy soon?

Message  Q - Is it possible to be a realist and not be a pessimist as well? - LL

If this reflects reality. I doubt it, but then that just makes me a skeptic.

It might be difficult, however, for an idealist to ever be pessimistic. They are by definition immune to reality. Take Bush for example...
