| User | BeautifulSoul | | Topic | Hilary and Obama | | Message | Not being very interested in politics I didn’t follow the canidates, but now I would like to know about Hilary and Obama. Maybe even a little about McCain. What are their views, and yours, and what their standing is. Such as on abortion, same sex marriage, and the such. Personally, I was going for Hilary just because she was female and I felt the U.S. needed a change, but now I see that I don’t even know any of their values. Would really appreciate it. Thx. |

| User | Blue Monk | 2008-06-05 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | This goes down like the original Bush vs Clinton. In the final analysis, it was a gift because Bush Sr. didn’t run, didn’t even jog. Perhaps it could have even been considered an "arrangement". I still suspect that Hil is still waiting for her "turn", but Obama would be a idiot to have her (and Bill) in the White House with him.
But with the oligarchy actually running things... ya nevah kno. |

On the pragmatic side, with Hillary hopefully out of the way (don’t count on it) Obama should beat McCain easily. The Republicans (includes me) are dead, the Democrats charged up. One thing the electorate never forgives is a candidate who is deemed BORING. Mr. McCain is just maybe one step ahead of Al Gore in that respect, while Obama (love him or hate him) is worth watching.
By way of example, Bill Clinton was and still is a weasel/skunk hybred of the ninth degree - but at least he always kept us entertained in some fashion. HE could have gotten re-elected yet again, even now if the law allowed, in spite of the fact that both of them really should be in jail if there was any justice (maybe Bush as well).
On the plus for Obama, he would not be a strong enough president - at least in a first term - to cause much harm. By contrast if the Clinton’s went back to the White House it would be Hell bent over and the question would have to be asked, "would the last sane person in the U.S. please flush and close the lid on the way down".
Verdict - Obama has the nomination, but Hillary is still stirring the cauldren while sounding her patent witch’s cackle. Time to pull out the FBI files?

There is one thing I’d like to see – for Hilary to get the hell OUT! Christ! She’s worse than the Black Knight from “Monty Python”! |
| User | latentlylyrical | 2008-06-03 | | | Subject | oh really? | | Message | Ronswords, how can you believe that McCain will dominate the election?
What makes you think the Democrats will not give him a good run for his money? |
| User | Ronswords | 2008-06-03 | | | Subject | Hi | | Message | Its al over Obama wins the democratic nomination
It really dosent matter because John McCain is going to easily dominate the Election and become the next President
I encourage all Voters to examine John McCains strong background and his willingness to change the World
Obama on the other hand will only turn the United States against each other and bring much violence and Hatred
GO MCCAIN!!!!!!!
God Bless

i say no.... there is no way in hell i would vote for them together after all the shit they talk about each other... both say how bad a president the other one would be so they’d just make themselves out to be hypocrites if they were together.....
but i dont know who else i’d want either of them paired with... |

Laugh at Bill and Hillary Clinton for piling on to the idea that Obama is the one who’s an "elitest". "Clinton Inc." has collected over $40 million in speaking fees over the last few years. It’s not exactly the paupers who are willing to pay for that drivel.

Much like social security, medicare and now the "national sales tax" always being looked at as a future alternative, it all boils down to garnished wages/taxes that are glued to those least able to actually pay them.
Are there any other unconstitutional federal burdens and mandates you’d like to discuss? The "founding fathers" are spinning in their graves already. We once fought a war to break away from this crap. |

She’s only been kind because it was that or find some charismatic man to marry who would bring her into the political eye. (Oh wait- she did that too- scrupulous wench...)
One of my dad’s favorite jokes about the "fallout" (pun intended) of a woman president in the U.S.- that each month we’d have 28 days of peace followed by a week of global war.
It’s a scary concept if you close your eyes and imagine Hillary as that woman president.
She wants to garnish wages of those who can’t afford healthcare....
WTF YO!

Historically it’s been the people serving under her (including Bill) that frequently incur her wrath, the peons. As she once said about her law enforcement personnel, "Don’t worry, they’re OUR PIGS NOW...".
Her sentiments are also echoed in Bill’s own words, "I loath the military".
"I loathe the military" letter to Colonel Holmes, ... (His notorious "draft-dodging" "I Loathe The Military" letter) I am sorry ...

I can’t see her interacting with world leaders in any positive way. Being a woman in power would be the first big strike against her with most Muslim leaders, and her condenscending elitist attitude could easily alienate many other leaders.
Who wants to work with a bitch? Even if she is head of state for a powerful economy...a bitch is a bitch.

| User | Blue Monk | 2008-04-24 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | That depends upon how much and how often Iran is willing to pay Bill Clinton for a speaking engagement in Teran. The Clinton’s can be very friendly with (and useful to) their "friends".
There’s also the prospect of buying some favors through either Hillary’s or Bill’s brothers. Remember Roger’s musical gig in N. Korea? I thought not. Roger "the bag man" Clinton" performed" in N. Korea for their leader after Hillary canceled out her own visit, probably after weighing the possible fallout (no pun intended). |
